It was a great honour to take part in this exhibition that has been going on annually for over a hundred and fifty years held by the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre. Even greater honour was not only to show my work as an artist but to represent Brasil in such prestigious international event.
Some of the most important artists and their most fantastic works of art have been shown in the Parisian art society exhibition founded by Auguste Rodin in 1862.
For these amazing days in Paris, I was hosted by the Cité des Arts which is, along with the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, also a Parisian foundation recognized of public utility. In 2015, Cité des Arts filled 50 years so it was also very special to be welcomed as a resident artist there in this particular moment.
I thank the Brazilian Ministry of Culture for the sponsorship and for believing in the hard work and in this cultural exchange between Brazil and France.
Foi uma grande honra participar dessa exposição que acontece anualmente, há mais de 150 anos, realizada pela Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes de Paris e acolhida no Carrousel du Louvre. Mais do que meu trabalho, levei nossa bandeira para esse evento de tamanho prestígio internacional.
Alguns dos mais importantes artistas e das mais fantásticas obras de arte foram apresentadas nessa exposição da sociedade de arte parisiense, fundada por Auguste Rodin em 1862.
Para esses dias em Paris, fui recebida pela Cité des Arts que, assim como a Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes de Paris, é também uma fundação reconhecida de utilidade pública. Em 2015, a Cité des Arts completou 50 anos, tornando assim minha estadia aí particularmente especial.
